A Gothic Luxe Wedding; Heart and Soul

The next Gothic Luxe Wedding Fair is now just over 2 months away!… you heard right… 11 weeks until we invade York and bring with us the most amazing dark wedding suppliers from all over the UK.

To celebrate working with Merchant Adventurers’ Hall to host the most inspiring gothic/metal/emo/punk wedding fair, we decided to create a styled shoot befitting the venue and bringing together just a few of the incredible wedding professionals that you will meet at the show.

We wanted to demonstrate, that when you work with the people that share your interests:

  • you are not simply choosing a blood red wedding dress, you are choosing a blood red wedding dress with baroque lace and spiderweb embroidery.

  • You are choosing more than an anatomical heart as your motif, those anatomical hearts are blooming wild and nestled amongst skulls and crystals, or crazy realistic and crafted into a unique ring box.

  • Your photographer won’t simply turn up and capture what they see, they’ll bring red filters and be brimming with artistic ideas to capture you like no other

  • you are not simply choosing a colour palette; your glass wear will be blood red and centerpieces perched on Gothic arches, your diamonds will be held by bones and your ceremony will incorporate the virtues of your favourite niche movies.

“When I met you, flowers started growing in the darkest parts of my mind”

And what an incredible team! Sure, the TilDeath team developed an idea and created a mood board, but the beauty of working with professionals who GET IT is that you can send over the mood board and a) they will be excited to get involved, b) they will be instantly brimming with ideas and c) and this is a big one… you will have the absolute confidence that you can trust them to understand exactly what you want, and you don’t have to educate your suppliers on what you mean to make sure every detail is perfect on the day.

So what are you waiting for? Get those tickets, make it into a mini break and book that weekend getaway in the most haunted city!

Oh, we hear you, won’t all the suppliers be local to York? What’s the point in travelling to a wedding fair if none of the suppliers are going to travel to me?

Well, our amazing suppliers are scattered all over the UK. This incredibly talented bunch of awesome businesses are travelling the length and breadth of the country to meet you; Whitby, Birmingham, Peterborough, Nottingham, Manchester, Leeds, Bristol… all our suppliers travel or post their product, so distance need not be an issue!

So book those tickets, and start planning the wedding that really reflects you as a couple… no compromise.
